Hilda winning BIS-puppy in international all breed show, under Tamás Jakkel
Hilda was a placing puppy, given free for one litter to me later. So I used to co own her her first nearly 4 years and showed her in many shows to get her points as a new star.
'Hilda' was born a day before my birthday - mother of this litter Int &Fin & N Ch Adamant's Eye Appeal got all her Finnish puppies about on my birthdays! I had already decided to retire grand old lady 'Ada', but her daughter Adamant's Rose d'Amore had at Ada's season time her 4 weeks old litter by Multi Ch Multi Winner Whisborne Devil in Disguise and they looked exceptional fascinating, so I got strong intuition about to send Ada as well to Denmark. So after some troubles she got the flight tickets and Mariann Korpi kindly travelled with her to Denmark. The litter was worth all trouble; all three bitches have got their titles and one of the males as well.

Hilda winning BIG and BIS-5 in Turku Top Dog Show 1998 under Luis Pinto Teixeira
Hilda didn't look so exceptional promising puppy in my eyes on her very first few weeks. I was more fascinated with her sister Adamant's Export Quality, who went to kennel Sieger's, Denmark, as a stud fee. And still today the superb quality of Export Quality with true springertype with superb body and flowing movement appeals to me more, but for my pleasure also Hilda has done great success in show ring and her qualities are of course close to sister.
Especially when Hilda was younger I used to call her 'photomodel' when she looked allways so pretty in pictures... when her sister was just 'hopeless' as a photomodel, but better in real. Never mind, lovely springer bitches both two. Hilda produced a very nice litter at our kennel, of which all 7 became at least CC winners!! Fortunately I got a chance to buy back one bitch, after my own 'Rumba' Adamant's Midsummer Dream tragically died hit by a car. The bitch called 'Saara' Adamant's Summer Fantasy is strongly bred to our own lines and has proved to be a piece of gold in our breeding programme so far.

Hilda winning BIG and BIS-3 in all breed show, under Rainer Vuorinen
In Helsinki winner show 1997 Hilda won BOS, when Adamant's Shakespeare took the BOB and Fin Winner -97 title! Judge was Ed Simpson, UK
I decided anyway to keep one bitch also for my breeding and it was 'Hilda'. So she went to live with Senja and Sinikka,
who kindly did all the best to get Hilda in those shows I thought. Hilda was a puppy star; she begun to win great in shows at 4 months age already... She gained 6 Best in Shows in puppy classes and many of them in big all breed and international shows.
Adamant's Superman and Adamant's Estee Lauder have won so many (at least 20!) BOB and BOS together in international shows..as here In Oulu-97, where Superman took BOB and BIG, Estee Lauder BOS under Norwegian judge Per Iversen
When she was a youngster it begun to get a little bit crowded in show ring: Adamant's Superman was already in my hands there. To have two stars in one's hands can be a problem so Hildas young co-owner Senja got her great chance to show Hilda usually then, when Superman and Hilda where both in best of breed competition. And she did it so very well!
Anyway Hilda was a little in shadow of Superman in show ring during her first showing years, though every now and then even she took the BOB. But there are enough shows in Finland, so sometimes Hilda travelled with her family to another show and Superman to another and it happened that they won Group-1 on same day few times!!
One of Hildas most unforgettable show achievements was in Sweden, when she won Best in Show in Askersund International All Breed Show!!! Breed judge was Mrs Anne Walton UK, Group judge Eeva Rautala, Fin, and BIS judge
Marisa Brivio-Chellini, Italy.

1999 Hilda travelled to Italy for a year, when Senja was spending that time there as a kennel girl. Hilda had a great chance to be shown in middle European show rings then and the best achievement there was BIG-1 and BIS-2 in Lausanne international show!! She won also BOB in Italian ESS speciality show under Ann Webster, UK.

Hilda winning BIG and BIS-2 in Schwitzerland, Lausanne international dog show 1999
After coming back home 2000 Hilda did probably her best show time during summer that year; she won BIG-1 nearly in every show that she attended, if we forget Somero all breed , where she was beaten by the old good friend, Superman, who got BIS-1 in that show later. She won speciality BIS at same time of same day when Superman took all breed BIS... they are such lovely memories which never will be forgotten!! Next weekend she continued in Helsinki all breed and made a 'little revenge' to Superman by winning BOB that day and later BIS-!!!.
The winning couple Superman and Estee Lauder enjoying show day day before than Superman left to his long holiday trip to Australia...
Hilda has been an important piece of winning Adamant's breeder groups through all these years. She has been in in at least 20 BIS-1 breeders groups of Adamant's kennel, most unforgettable of these have been the great wins in Helsinki International Winner shows and Spaniel Club's Main Speciality show.

Hilda once again as an important piece of team Adamant, unforgettable BIS breeders class in prestigious Helsinki International winner show 1997 under Ed Simpson/ Elina Tan-Hietalahti
Hilda sometimes seems to love her show entrance, but every now and then she thinks it is most boring; you never know. Her mother was just a like also in this case. She is anyway one of the most winning English Springers we have ever bred.
3.6.99 she got a nice litter sired by European Winner-99, World Winner -00, Nordic Winner -01 Nordic & N & Fin & Dk &S(u)CH, Nord W-01 Whisborne Agnus Og (N Ch Nimblewith Flower Power - Adamant's Special Colours). All these seven puppies have achieved already at least one CC to their credit! We kept 'Rumba', Adamant's Midsummer Dream, ourselves. Unfortunately she died summer 2001 hit by a speeding car in front of our main door. She had her first litter that time sired by Springdale New Trick.
So Hildas litter has been a great pleasure to us: 7 healthy puppies, who have all won at least a CC in shows!
Already 4 of them have gained their titles and few need only field test to get Fin Ch title!
After her second litter, which was made in kennel Foogel, she has been shown few times during summer 2001. She looks a little heavier now than she used to be, but she has done well in shows though. Best achievement was when she won BOB in Nordic winner show and finally got the winner title: Nordic Winner-01!!! Another great achievement was when she was shown in Pori International show in July and she took part of our breeders class, which ended as BIS-1!
