Henry was born in a litter of 9 (!!) males and one girl. I got the idea about to do this certain litter just in the beginning of July 2006 suddenly while driving home from job. Immediately when the 'click' idea came, I sent a text message to Windy's co owner Marja to ask if her summer season already had gone. Heard that it had just begun at midsummer night, so then I called Pablo's other owner Jaana (Baskethill's kennel) to ask her how does my sudden plan sound for her. Little did I guess about becoming record amount of male puppies when I was driving the long way to mate Windy to Pablo on a sunny summer day. There were dreams to get many girls and and so, but so was not the case..I must admit I was little bit embarrased over first week when all the boys had become reality.

The little Henry was among my 3 favourite male puppies from very early beginning. I thought he is a quality puppy and tried to offer him to some show homes, but he did not seem to fill exactly any puppy buyers hopes and when I put the advertisement of promising male puppy for sale on web main page, nobody with show/breeding interest even asked.. so he just remained in our house longer, because I was too stubborn to sell this promising boy to a pet home only.
Soon I begun to notice he seemed to be a very special boy to my husband Mikko, and he took a special care about him. When friends asked if Henry still is for sale, I used to say 'active selling time seems to be over', but still thought we dont want to keep a male yet but only a couple of years later. One day I realised he was even named by our boys: "Henry". I was wondering where did the name come from and one theory is that from a Finnish comic TV serie 'Kummeli', where is a funny silly person called 'Little-Henry'. One day soon arrived football magazine 'Goal' and boys where showing me the main page, where one famous Henry was starring...so even I was then convinced of that it was just correct name for this boy.

One day I realised that Henry does have so many such qualities I myself would need in my future breeding programme and he still looked like a show promise too. When he runs on the fields along with Sophie it is food for my eyes. Henry's character has been irresistable so far, he just will charm and please everyone he meets, and he begun to 'smile' very early. He has been developing very nicely in every way. His favourite friend #1 is Sophie, with whom he would like to play all day long. Fingers are crossed for that he could continue to develope this way and would be one day hopefully a lovely addition in our show team and also in our breeding programme as well..as of now he does fill our own hopes and we are very pleased with him.
