...if it had not been such a honest kindhearted person, who found the handbag I lost at the airport, when I was leaving to mate 'Rosie' to 'Carsten', and my handbag had dropped on the floor in lift..I had more likely had to cancel all the trip, since there was packed in my handbag all the money for flight tickets and stud fee etc..some 1700 Euros! Shock to notice it was all gone with the passport etc just hardly 1 hour before flight, but then loudspeakers were telling it is found a bag and there it was: in the office of lost property!..so this story was ready start though..

..if our legendary S-litter-95 had not ever been born, there had not existed such dogs as for excample just to name few...:

-Adamant's Superman..the legendary all time Top Winning ESS in Scandinavia with his marvellous wins and champion progeny of 25 in different countries around the world and their winning progeny.. one of Superman's progeny to name is for excample the famous Adamant's Golden Boy, who has won Specialty BIS, Spaniel Club Main Specialty show BOBs among all his other marvellous wins, not forgetting his 'Spaniel of the Year -04' and 'Show ESS of the year -04' titles..

-Adamant's Special Colours..the bitch who has got 9 champions in her progeny...and the progeny of her has produced enormous amount of winners & champions..and for excample BIS in Swedish Club Show this year (Creebay Fuzzy Feeling) also has got Special Colours in his pedigree..

-Adamant's Dreams Are Free..Top winning ESS bitch in Finland -03-05, winning Specialty BIS and Main Club show BOB..

-famous Whisborne Angus Og (son to Adamant's Special Colours), great winner himself and his some 30 champion progeny..one of which for excample has won 'Show Springer Of The Year Sweden' few times (Barecho Fun For The Future)..and many of which have produced even more famous champions and winners..

As of now we know this will be never ending story this one (since these names are sitting there in so plenty of such pedigrees, that are widely used in breeding further), and we do know that all that has come out from our S-litter has not been just pure gold like in fairytales, but as seeing the picture as a whole all that good around that has happened since that beautiful memorable autumn day 25.9.95, when I got the feeling that S- litter is something extraordinary in our breeding, we certainly are still so happy, grateful and proud of that all this good has happened in real and it was not a fairytale only! And most happy we are to realise this litter's impact in the breed itself.

Adamant's Sweet Dreams 'Siiri' participated in Obedience test today 25.9.05 with Veera.
She went close to perfection, and took 186 points out of 200 possible with honour prize in Open class!!!
Now she can move in to Winner class, even though she only has been in 4 obedience tests.

'Madde' Adamant's Royal Stories was shown 24.9.05 in Orimattila Group show for Gun dogs.
Being only 11 months old she showed happily like allways and went to win Best of Breed, her 6. CC! nad even BIG-4!!!

Madde was already 12. BOB winner from our homebred Springers this year and Adamant's Springers have won so far over 40 BOBs this year, thanks to all who have made this possible!

Adamant's Wind of Change, 9 months, picture taken in Hyvinkää Group show 18.9.05

'Arvo' Adamant's Wind of Change was shown last time in a puppyclass on Saturday 17.9 in a Group show.
He took his 8. BOB puppy award, congratulations to owners Hannele & Jukka Pakkala!

Next day it was another group show, where we had also some more entered from our team.
'Arvo' was now shown first time as a junior in adult classes, and got 'excellent' and was placed as BD-4.
Our 'Frida' has been shown mainly in International and Specialty shows, but enjoyed now her day even in this winning her
Best of Breed number 30!
Another happy girl sparkling happiness all day long, 'Madde' Adamant's Royal Stories 10 months, did well too winning her 5. CC and BB-3 placement and the old lady 'Elli' Adamant's Ellen Beatrix was also placed nicely as BB-4 + BOB veteran and made a shortcut in final ring. Judge in breed was Vera Smirnova, Estonia and Group + BIS vet judges came also from Baltic countries

10.9.05 was held Kotka International all breed show. ESS judge was Ewa Nielsen, Sweden, Group judge for FCI 8 was Soile Bister, BIS veteran judge Elke Peper, Germany and BIS breederclass judge Andrzej Kazmierski, Poland.

Our 'Saara' Adamant's Summer Fantasy has been shown very seldom, this was actually her second show this year!
Saara enjoyed her day out, and told to her famous winning friend 'Frida', that she can beat her not only while they have their running competitions on our fields, but also in show ring! 'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free had been an unbeaten bitch in those 12 latest International shows held in Finland, where she has participated, winning 12 CACIBs in row, but Saara showed her that no one can win every time.
Saara continued in big ring winning winning BIG-3 too!!!
So Frida was then 2. best bitch with res CACIB, when CACIB went to Saara (5. CACIB to her credit).
'Madde' Adamant's Royal Stories 10 months, continued her success story winning one more CC to her credit and BB-4.
'Arvo' Adamant's Wind of Change won again BOB puppy. The old grand lady Adamant's Ellen Beatrix , soon 10, was showing so happily like she allways does and went to BOB and BIS-3 veteran!!
Last but not the least, our breeders class went to win BIS-2 in big ring! Big thanks to all talented handlers!
There must be some magic in Sanna's fingers, since we have been placed in finals with our breeders classes EVERY time so far, when she has handled a dog in them!

Adamant's Wonder Man winning his first BOB puppy award in his first show, Evian International show

One more happy phone call after weekend 27-28.8.05 came from Italy.
Carlo Gennari had travelled to France, Evian International All breed show.
Adamant's Wonder Man made his show debut with style, he was BOB puppy under
well known Gun Dog Specialist Laurent Pichard, Schwitzerland.
According to Carlo the judge had been very impressed with young 'Wagner'; we were very pleased to hear that.
'Robin' Adamant's True Sensation had won one more CC, CACIB and BOB to his credit. Congratulations to Carlo and good luck especially for the young one in becoming shows! Unfortunately this time they had not time for to wait and show dogs in Group competitions.

We have got a new beautiful picture of another brother, living in Canada at kennel Waternymph. In picture there is multiple BOB winner and BIG placer, Adamant's True Fashion, this pic was taken in Canada nationals. 'Versace' is not only a pretty face like you see in his titles!

He is among his other wins the very first undocked ESS to gain Show champion title in Canada.

'Smoogey' Adamant's Unique Print has been out of shows for a while to change her summer coat to a winter one, but she anyhow went in to Finnish forest today to show her working abilities and of course she passed the working ability test with first trial.
So now she only needs to get enough old (2 years) to catch the last ticket for Champion title.

Adamant's Be My Dream went to her first winner class tracking test. Success was great again, since she took again 1. prize with 44 points! Congrats Johanna again.. 'Myntha' just needs 2 more to Tracking Ch title!

Congratulations to Julia Ekman for her Adamant's True Love finishing her Fin & Rus Champion title today 20.8.05 in Luumäki Group show, judge was Hannele Jokisilta, Fin.
We now have bred 64 Champions out of 237 born puppies, keeping us still on that track, that at least every 4. puppy born here is a champion!
'Eeva' is 13. from our team to gain CC in show during this year and she took it in her first show this year.

Weekend 13-14.8.05 I visited lovely Norway judging there, while team Adamant for a change after so many successfull show weekends through summer, went now in to the forest to test their abilities to work.
Results were impressive.
Our own home pet 'Enni' Fin Ch Adamant's Golden Success participated 5. time in tracking test and the result was her 5.
1. prize in row!!! In Finland we need 5 times 1. prize for Tracking Champion title, of which 3 should be done in winner class. Our Enni has never lost the track yet so far, and has taken 1. prize in each test she has attended!! The style to finnish her Fin Tracking Champion title was great, since she took 48 points out of 50 possible with superb critique. She has gained all this being minimally trained, usually only just 1 training track per year..now this year two since she took part in two tracking tests this year. So now we have one more Double champion : Fin Tr & Sh Ch Adamant's Golden Success.

In same test our co owned import male 'Moses' With Touch Holy Moses made his debut with co owner Antti Hokkanen.
Even Moses went smoothly all the track through and gained 44 points and 1. prize!
Yet one more from our team participitated in weekends tracking tests: 'Myntha' Adamant's Be My Dream was tracking in Springer Club's Annual Championship test. She took great 46 points and 1. prize in Open Class, and was the winner in that class!!!
She now continues then in winner class to catch her title some day, good luck for that Johanna!

Weekend 6-7.8.05 was a successfull one for Adamant's team,
and the most happy thing was of course the lovely success of the youngsters.

In Joensuu show weekend we had got time to take part only in the first show, that was International All Breed Show.
'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free made things (again) exciting before the show, since she stealed all 'Madde's weekend food + lots of goodies for dogs in our car on the way..so she was perhaps more like a swollen cow previous night of the show. But, lots of walking in a beautiful nature around the hotel did make miracles and she was 'quite ok' in her waist area to be shown though. She went BOB, CACIB and later on BIG-4!! Also 'Madde' Adamant's Royal Stories', 9 months, and 'Siiri' Adamant's Sweet Dreams were shown and Madde took CC and BB-2!!, when 'Siiri' was BB-3 taking res CC and Res Cacib to her credit.
Moses' With Touch Holy Moses was BD-2 with res Cacib and he repeated BD-2 placement next day in National Ch show.

was BOB puppy and Adamant's Sweet Fantasy took BB-3 + res CC. BOB and BIG-4 went to Adamant's Superman daughter Baskethill's Golden Blossom

6.8. was also held Kihniö Group show, where Marjo Jaakkola was judging the breed and Group, and BOB + BIG-3 went to young (9 months) 'Mette' Adamant's Royal Romance!!

7.8.05 was held all breed puppy show in Helsinki. 'Arvo' Adamant's Wind of Change was first time shown from beginning to the end by his own mum Hannele Pakkala, and the result was just great: Arvo showed happily and got a lovely critique and went to BOB and BIG-1!!! Well done Hannele and impressive way to you to start together with him his show career!

Adamant's Superman daughter 'Smoogey' Adamant's Unique Print got her hip results from kennel club, and they were like supposed best quality: A-A looking super already at vet.
Some Superman kids are also x rayed lately in USA, and have been from good to excellent (OFA).

1. prizes in those others and this was her second time in Winner class..she did not disappoint us either now..but took again 1. prize!!!! Quite a nose she has, and she only had (again) just one training track done before this years test.

Adamant's Sweet Dreams 'Siiri' has continued successfully her obedience tests, and took 2. prize at first trial in open class, 159 points so she missed just one point from 1. prize at first start in this class.

ESS judge came from Ireland, Gerry Hickey, results in winners were once again same as in those other International shows in Finland lately. Adamant's Dreams Are Free 'Frida' is getting back in beautiful coat after some burnt 'summercoat' times and won in a hot sun shine Best of Breed, and young 'Moses' With Touch Holy Moses took once again CACIB he too and was BOS Our breedersclass was BOB, ages in it were from 9 months to 8 years, and when young ladies yet dont have coat like older dams, we did not show it in final ring, though the critique was excellent.

Weekend 23-24.7.05 two young promises of our team had new challenges in front of them, since with kennel Wildomar's co owned 'Madde' Adamant's Royal Stories was shown first time in junior class , being only 3 days over 9 months, and Hannele & Jukka Pakkala's owned 'Arvo' Adamant's Wind of Change was shown in puppyclass being only few days over 7 months. Both did very well, since 'Madde' took in Vantaa All breeds Show under judge Matti Tuominen res CC and BB3, next day under Eeva Rautala she took her first CC, BB2, beaten only by our Frida, who won bitches. 'Arvo' was BOB puppy under Matti Tuominen in Vantaa' 'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free was BOB (number 26 to her credit) and made a shortcut in 5 best in Group under Australian judge Wendy Slatyer. 'Moses' With Touch Holy Moses continued even he his winning ways being BOS.

Weekend 16-17.7.05 we travelled to Nivala International All Breeds, ESS were judged by Kirsi Nieminen.
'Moses' With Touch Holy Moses was just one day over 1 2 years old and ready to try to catch Ch title in very first possible day. He DID it and won Best male, and is now Fin Ch, congratulations Antti, Well done!

'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free won BOB and later despite of really hot weather was BIG-4!
'Siiri' Adamant's Sweet Dreams has lost her coat but still gained a nice placement in best bitch: BB3 + res CC. Adamant's Summer Fantasy 'Saara' was shown first time after her latest litter and was BB4.
Our breeder group was completed with summer coated 'Smoogey' Adamant's Unique Print, who took EXC1, and our breedersclass BOB.

17.7.05 in Ypäjä all breed show ESS were judged by Johan Juslin, who gave the one and very only EXC in ESS to our 'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free, who later on was placed even in Group as BIG-4.

WEEKEND 2-3.7.05
We packed the car full and took a boat and then yet another to take part in VISBY shows on Swedish island 'Gotland' Had been there 18 years ago and allways remembered how beautiful island of roses it was. Sun was shining hot and first day went as shopping in beautiful old city of Visby, having a sightseeing around and making a trip into Northen Europe's largest stalactite caves. Poor 'Frida' Adamant's Dreams are Free turned to look for unknown reason mostly little bit slack and not so happy as usually ..we thought she perhaps doesnt like the boat travels, but when we arrived home the reason (= a piece of cotton fabric (!?)) came out normal way and she was back normal happy herself. Despite of this she really surprised us and managed to gain one more title to her credit:
Swedish Show Champion, when she took CC first show day in International All Breed show under Norwegian judge Per Iversen, who gave her even res CACIB.
'Moses' With Touch Holy Moses was not bothered a tiny bit of the very hot weather, but was running both days with great enthustiasm ("Fantastic mover" was the description in Iversen's critique) and first day in International show he had an unforgettable day winning not only BOB, CC, CACIB but even in hard competition BIG-1 and BIS-5!!!. Bis judge was Manuel Fernando Rodrigues from Portugal.
The little happy mascot of our trip, 'Smoogey' Adamant's Unique Print had top energy all the way long as usually and was showing with great enthustiasm and won junior class with CC quality each day, her critiques were just lovely.
So, after the hot day we could just relax after having gained all aims and even more at first show day. Next day in National show success was still excellent, when Moses took BD-3 and Frida BB-2, under Swedish judge Inger Boström. Thanks a million to Antti for showing Frida first day to CC win, and thanks to Taina keeping the map and driving in control, and of course Veera for lovely pics and for everyone for keeping the great sense of humour in all circumstances along the way.

First day Arja Koskelo was judging in Pärnu international show and 'Emma' Melverly Violetta, mother of 9 9,5 weeks old puppies, won bitches and took CC, CACIB, BOS
Daughter 'Madde' took BOB puppy each days and won even BIS-2 puppy under Göran Bodegard each days.

Her critique first day was:"Absolutely charming 8,5 months old puppy, with beautiful head and pleasing expression. Good neck and topline. Good forechest, body depth and width. Excellent angulation. Moves exceptional beautifully with effective gait. In excellent show condition. Really gorgeous puppy to which I predict a bright show career."

Adamant's Dreams Are Free has been impressive bitch in her way to go. She won whole SIXTEEN (16) times Best Bitch in row (since last October).In Rusko show 18.6.05 she was showing happily wagging her tail all time as usually despite of hot weather.Helene Björkman from Sweden ('Barecho') was judging and awarded her 2. BB when Adamant's Dancing Queen progeny took it all: BOB, BOS and both CCs. Even Dancing Queen like Dreams Are Free are both Adamant's Rose d'Amore daughters.

I had the great honour and pleasure to judge ESS in the country of breed's origin, when I judged 12.6.05 the breed in Northern English Springer Spaniel Society's official show. Even though the day was rainy and not too warm, I enjoyed every minute of it. Unfortunately not any pictures because of the rain.


While I was away, some very nice successes had been gained by oour owned/bred dogs.
Adamant's Royal Heritage and Adamant's Royal Romance had taken 2x BOB puppy (one to each) and one BOS (R. Heritage) awards. Their sire, our co owned import With Touch Holy Moses took on Saturday his 16. CC with BOS, Jorma Silta judging and then on Sunday under Marjo Jaakkola he took his 17. CC and BOB, BIG-2!!! Well done Antti!!

On Sunday another puppy of ' Moses', our co owned 'Madde' with Sanna Kavén, Adamant's Royal Stories went to All Breed Puppy Show in Helsinki and won BOB, BIG-1, BIS-3!!! Judge in breed and group Pirkko Konttinen, in BIS Marja Kurittu.

The old lovely 'Adrian' Adamant's Brilliant Chance was shown during the weekend in Norway, in Spaniel Club show. He, 9 years, went to Best of Breed and BIS-4 and Best in Show veteran!!! He was shown even in International show and also there won males and went BOS!! Big congratulations to kennel Westaway, Stig Kjellevold and Frank Bjerklund!!!

On Saturday a Canadian judge found hardly any good point in her, but she continued her winning ways under Breed Specialist Hansen next day and took her 6. CC! with lovely critique again: "12 months old bitch of good size, excellent quality and type, beautiful feminine head, typical expression, correct bite. Beautiful neck and shoulder. Good topline, good rear angulation, well developed body for her age, strong bones. moving very well with drive, beautiful coat, lovely temper".

21.5.05 we went to traditional 'Aptus' Helsinki International all breed show, where Per Iversen judged ESS.
Sun was really shining to our team, and all were on top show mood after cold winter times.
'Moses' With Touch Holy Moses really got enough place to run like he can..and went to Best of Breed, took his 14. CC and one more CACIB to his credit and made shortcut later on in Group.
'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free continued her winning ways taking already 7. CACIB IN ROW!!! and was BOS. Young 'Siiri' Adamant's Sweet Dreams 16 months has been sparely shown so far, but starts now to look like was expected and got a super critique and was placed 2. best bitch with CC and res-CACIB!
Adamant's Golden Boy was second best male with Res-CACIB, and dear old Onni Adamant's Superman 4. best male and BOB veteran. 'Madde' Adamant's Royal Stories 7 months was BOB puppy both in Helsinki and in Hamina, and her lovely critique first day begun with words'Lovely moving puppy..' and second day critique was as superb too. Our breeders class was BOB both days

Next day it was held another International All Breed show in Hamina, where Annukka Paloheimo, Fin, was judging ESS.
All results were quite the same as day before in Helsinki. Now BOB and BOS went other way round, 'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free went BOB and later on won BIG-3 being Best Spaniel!!! This CACIB was then number 8. for her in ROW (16 CACIBs for her now totally). Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen was judging FCI 8 group. 'Moses' With Touch Holy Moses won BOS, 15. CC and CACIB again.
'Siiri' was not entered to this show, but then little 'Smoogey' Adamant's Unique Print kept flag flying, and went again to 2. best bitch and won her 5. CC..and age is just 11 months!

......... the oldie goldie, legend in his lifetime, Scandinavian record maker ESS, 'His Majesty', the fixed star in Finnish dog show world through past 9 years etc, Adamant's SUPERMAN made his very last performance in show world with the great style he can, he was 3. Best Male beaten only by own team's boys 'Moses' and 'Poju'
He was still short cut in final in to the very best veterans of the day.
His show career was exceptional indeed all the way long, he was on top all his show career through and all the lovely memories from final rings of great shows in the end of his lead, just following 'the artist' himself and his own performance and way to charm judges from all over the world, the memories will allways be stored and remembered as a wonderful time; having been priviledged to own a real 'Once In Lifetime Dog'. Now he will enjoy his life as a 'couch potato',,that has been his another favourite hobby.
Thanks to all judges who have appreciated him so highly, thanks for all talent handlers who have shown him along the way, thanks to all his fans around the world keeping contact and sending best wishes to him, and very special thanks of course to co owners, Australian Darren Skipworth for all great job he did with Onni when he spent a year 'down under' and Tiina Mattila, who allways has given help and encouragement when needed
Onni was living up to his name all his showing time through and a personality and exceptional showman like him is hard to get; he simply loved show world in every way and was enjoying it all with smiley face giving his friendly surprise kisses to competitors noses.
His very last critique under judge Annukka Paloheimo was beautiful like his all critiques along the way were: "Nearly 10 years old, stylish. Excellent proportions. Beautifully refined foreface. Excellent rear. Upperarm could be a little better laid. Moving still with beautiful reach in front. Shown in beautiful condition".

22.5.05 sister and her brother, Adamant's Royal Romance and Adamant's Royal Heritage were BOB and BOS puppy in Lapinlahti Group show under Annaliisa Heikkinen, Fin. Congratulations to owners!!

18.5.05 Adamant's Sweet Dreams took part in obedience test with Veera, and took 1. prize in new beginners class, and was best in that class out of 12 entries.

Sunday 15.5.05 morning time was a busy one for us. First early morning some 90 km drive to an obedience test, where 'Siiri' aka Adamant's Sweet Dreams debuted..so close so far, had she been waiting down 10 seconds more she had taken 1. prize but now 3., anyhow she did quite a nice job with Veera. When she got her critique we heard that it is only 10 entries to judge in a show in some 60 km distance from obedience test, before 'Smoogey' Adamant's Unique Print should be in ring in juniorclass. Luckily it was a motor road nearly all the way long..so on the last second when bitches judging begun there we were, and 11 months young 'Smoogey' did not mind all the rush, but showed very well and took her 4. CC!!. Judge was Markku Santamäki. Smoogey was 2. best bitch, congratulations to Taina the proud owner!
Sanna Kavèn Has been in Estonia shows and had 'Madde' Adamant's Royal Stories also with her. Madde was first day BOS puppy, and second day in Winner-05 show under Tiina Illukka she won BOB puppy and was shortcut in 6 best puppis in BIS final.
Her critique gave promises for the future:
"Stylish well balanced overall picture.Really beautiful head. Beautiful topline. Excellent angulations. Magnificent ribcage for her age. Sound movement."

Summer has arrived and we spent a lovely day in out door show, Spaniel Club 2. show, which is one of those 'important' shows here.
Judge was Hans Rosenberg from Sweden.
We had only 'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free with us, and she won BOB again, being now in this show the very only ESS given 'Excellent' quality, so she was just in her own 'royalty' in BOB.

While our old stars are getting old, we have got some more promises for the future. It was lovely to meet the little 'Arvo' Adamant's Wind of Change, who was just having fun there, since few days too young to be shown, and then 'Mette' Adamant's Royal Romance, who still doesnt know how to behave in lead..but there is time in the future for these and other youngsters of our team, who are waiting to be enough old to be shown.

Younger part of team had nice day too, Adamant's Sweet Dreams took EXC1, With Touch Holy Moses res CC , Adamant's Unique Print Exc2 and Adamant's Blowing Free EXC1.

Adamant's Royal Heritage has trained how to move in a show lead and went to win BIS in Match Show 16.4.05; not a bad training at all.

While 'Smoogey' has been collecting CCs in show ring, our 'Siiri' Adamant's Sweet Dreams has been concentrating in to obedience trainings and is doing well. Same time we have been waiting she would develope further with getting more substance and full coat to complete the picture, and now she is looking like she is ready back to shows too.

TK1 Adamant's Be My Dream did a good job last month taking again 1. prize in open class obedience and now she is able to compete in Winner class! Good luck in their to owner Johanna!

News from Canada are telling, that 'Versace' aka Can CH Adamant's True Fashion has won 3 more Best of Breeds with BIG-3 and BIG-4 placements during March and April in Canada! Huge congratulations to Melanie Conrad at kennel Waternymph!!

'Smoogey' Adamant's Unique Print 10 months now, took again CC (#3) and now even her first Best of Breed! in Maalahti Group Show 16.4.05! Judge in breed was Merja Järnstedt and in Group Hannele Jokisilta, who placed junior Smoogey to honourable 4. Best of Group place!! As of now Smoogey went up to 5. place in Top Show ESS 2005 competition. Congratulations again to family Kaleva, you are doing a great job with Smoogey, who is such a lovely personality and has now even learned how to settle in lead to show her lovely movements.

Kennel Adamant's seems to hold its position as number 6. best Top Breeder All Breeds this Spring through, even though we have only shown few breeders groups lately.
But we are looking forward to show many breeders groups more in International and All breed shows through the year.
Adamant's Dreams Are Free has been holding her position as number 1. in Top Show Spaniel 2005 (along with some others) and Top Show ESS 2005 competions so far. She will be our team's Number One to be shown a lot this year, when she finally is in her very best bloom. But happily there are some future hopes coming in youngsters to follow her paw prints and to complete our breeding groups.

'Frida' won again BOB and GROUP-1 and took even Best in Show!!! BIS judge was Tuula Savolainen.
Old lady Adamant's Ellen Beatrix was 2. best bitch and won BIS veteran, her daughter Adamant's Beauty Queen was BB-3 winning her 2. CC!! so the day was as succesful as it could be.

Same time 'Madde' Adamant's Royal Stories and 'Albert' Adamant's Royal Heritage made their debut at 5 months age in Lahti All Breed Puppy show, where Merja Ylhäinen was judging FCI Group 8. Madde was handled by co owner Sanna and took Best of Breed and even BIG-2, well done her first day out!, Albert was 2. in his class.

2.4.05 'Smoogey' Adamant's Unique Print 9,5 months did it again!

We took part in Easter show, Lappeenranta All Breeds National show 27-28.3.05, and it was a lovely trip all through. All dogs were on top mood after having nice time in hotel and it's park with comfortable snow baths, as we had with us two real snow bath addicts: Adamant's Superman and his daughter Adamant's Unique Print 'Smoogey' 9 months.
ESS were judged by Raija Tammelin, Fin, and same judge took judged the Group (FCI8) with many very high quality BOB winners in there.
Adamant's Dreams Are Free took out best of her and was sparkling happiness; she won once again Best of Breed, number 20 to her credit and even GROUP-1 !!. BIS is judged today on Monday, but we had to drive the long way back after Group win yesterday.
'Onni' Adamant's Superman was jumping of joy since he was taken with to such a trip, and he won BOS and was full of He Himself in the final ring also and ended on honourable BIS-2 veteran placement, judge was Ritva Raita, Finland, and the winner was a stunning collie.
Little Smoogey Adamant's Unique Printhas grown out from puppy classes and she is now after 9 months able to win CCs and we did not need to wait for them too long: she won her first CC being beaten only by our 'Frida'! Congrats to Taina Kaleva again and thanks for all the pictures + nice company along the very nice trip we had.
While driving to the show we even stopped to visit to see little 'Arvo' Adamant's Wind of Change 3 months, owned by Hannele and Jukka Pakkala, and he for sure stealed our hearts. There are new pictures of him on 'puppies' page.

Now it is x rayed three of our S litters puppies, and all them ( A Sweet Dreams, A Sweet Fantasy, A Secret Weapon) got result A (=best possible) hips.

show committee had chosen a judge from Poland to judge ESS, entry was 42.
Frida Adamant's Dreams Are Free was as usually best bitch with one more CACIB to her credit, and her critique was filled with words Wonderful and fantastic and ended with 'absolutely perfect and lovely in all aspects'.
She is leading
Breed Club's Top Show ESS 2005 competition after 4 months counting.
Two other Adamant's ESS were shown and each of them won their class too. 'Smoogey' Adamant's Unique Print made her debut in official classes being a week over 9 months, she ended as 4. best bitch, best junior bitch and took Res CC.
Adamant's Secret Weapon won junior males with 'excellent' too.
We did not have breedersclass since Onni Adamant's Superman stayed at home for his big disappointment.
Even Adamant's Golden Boy took a rest on his laurels.

'Smoogey' Adamant's Unique Print finished her puppy career with one more BOB puppy award, now in Parkano Group show.
Smoogey was entered six times in puppy class and won Best of Breed every time!

We visited traditional Crufts show in UK, and now again with a dog bred by us, to represent our breeding work and it was also nice see how he can compete in this prestigious show with other well merited ESS, most of which are bred in the country of breed's origin.
For our great pleasure Adamant's Golden Boy took honourable 2nd place in Open Class!!!
Judge for ESS was breed specialist from UK, Yvonne Billows 'Robil'.
Poju was beaten by BOB and BIG-2 winner Mompesson Royal Destiny in open class. ESS entry was more than 200. All the trip was lovely and Poju was representing Finnish (and Scandinavian) ESS breeding with all honour. He was best oversea visitor ESS this year.
He will be 8 years within a month, but hard to see he is already an 'oldie'.

After a month break in showing it was a busy weekend with shows now.
Adamant's Dreams Are Free won one more Best of Breed to her credit in Valkeala Group show under Paavo Mattila.
Adamant's Unique Print was shown 5. time in puppy class and she got yet another superb critique and her 5. Best of Breed puppy award. Pitty no BIS competitions nowadays in Finland for puppies, when puppyclasses are along with official shows, so that was it.
Adamant's Sweet Dreams was placed to BB-4 placement.

While we were in Valkeala, Sanna and Sami Kavèn had full packed their car and travelled with several dogs in 3 breeds to Lithuanin winner show weekend. They won a load of Cacibs, CCs, Winner titles and so. First day the old 'Onni' Adamant's Superman took BOB win under breed specialist Barbara Muller from Schwitzerland. He got also CC, CACIB, Ltu Ch title and LtuW-05 titles to his credit.It was his number 125! BOB!

Next day it was yet one Int show in Lithuania, 'Vilna Cup', judge was Markku Santamäki, Finland.
Best of Breed went to Melverly Violetta 'Emma'! She took another CC & CACIB to her credit. Adamant's Sweet Fantasy was BOB junior with another junior CC. 'Onni' Adamant's Superman took res CACIB.

SMOOGEY WEEKEND!

"Smoogey" Adamant's Unique Print, 7 months, attended two shows at weekend 22-23.1.04. In Alavus under Kirsi Nieminen she took BOB and repeated the BOB win next day in Lahti puppy show under Rune Fagerström. She is still little bit dancing her own happy dances in the ring, but lets wait and see, when she settles..she has got even more reach in front than her dad Superman has.
Her critique in Lahti was:
"7,5 months old bitch, who has got magnificent outline. Excellent size. Correct proportions. Lovely head with correct length and strength. Magnificent expression. Good neck. Bit straight in shoulder. Good forechest and upperarm. Well bodied. Well angulated rear. Good wide thigh. Well boned. Good straight legs. Tight feet. Parallell and breed typical movements, temperament ok."

Show year 2005 begun for us little bit other way than planned: not in the first int. show, since our entries to Kajaani International All breed Show 8-9.1.05 had disappeared on the way. But happily the youngster With Touch Holy Moses kept flag flying: he took his 12. CC, and won males and was BOS with another CACIB to his credit! Well done Antti and Moses!
