"Absolutely super group containing both my CC-winners, a champion dog winner and veteran dog winner, what more praise can a judge give!" Gareth Lawler's (UK) critique for our breeders class in Main Speciality Show, where this group won Best in Show.
Great show year is now behind. We are really happy for the great success Adamant's Springers have achieved.
Especially proud we are about success again in Main Speciality Club show judged by breed specialist from Uk Mr Gareth Lawler;
in that show our bred Springers won BOB, BOS, BIS-3 BOS, BIS veteran, BIS breeder's class and both CCs + BIS-4 Progeny class. As well another lovely win was when Adamant's Golden Boy won BOS in Annual Springer Speciality under UK breed specialist Mrs Dorothy Bury . Also Spaniel Club's another
speciality show went extremely well for us as it was double win there too, as Adamant's Dreams Are Free
took BOB and BIS-3, while Adamant's Superman was BOS, our breeders class BIS-3.
Of course Superman's splendid comeback in to show ring at late summer as winning 4 times BIG-1 in row in great International and Breed National shows was something special and not to forget his super start in veteran classes as winning 3 times BIS veteran awards in 3 first starts!
Something special was also 'Versace's' (Adamant's True Fashion) great way to gain 'Can Champion ' title as first undocked ESS in Canada, he did it at 9 months age! He was Top ESS puppy #2 in Canada!
Other young exports bred by us Adamant's True Sensation and Adamant's Break Dance success has also given happy moments; Break Dance with her two BOB and two BIG-1!! in Mexico, and True Sensation's great wins in European shows in different countries and already at such a young age Group Winner in International All Breed Show!
'Adrian' Adamant's Brilliant Chance had a wonderful show year in Norway! It looks like he is TOP SHOW ESS 2003 there! He took some great wins under UK breed specialists, as won Best In Show in Club speciality under Frank Whyte, UK, and also BIS 4 in Main Club Speciality Show under John Hartley UK, and as a crown of the year took Norwegian Winner-03 title under UK specialist Moray Armstrong.
Our bred springers were among those 5 in this breed, who managed to win Best in Groups this year in Finland in All breed and International shows, in which We had 4 different BIG winners: Superman, Elvis Presley, Golden Boy and the young star Adamant's Dreams Are Free. These 4 were the most successfull show springers year 2004 in Finland.
Superman took amazingly yet one more SPANIEL OF THE YEAR title to his credit! He also was the most winning
GUN DOG in our country, he has been that nearly every year since he started his show career 1996, and his picture was published again in news of 'Dog World Annual UK'.
There has been also nice successfull moments in other dog sports as tracking and obedience and working ability tests
+ passed behavioral test for working dogs for the most successfull show ess bitch 2003 Adamant's Dreams Are Free, who has as well gained already Winner Class level in Obedience.

Three generations, Adamant's Blowing Free, Adamant's Golden Boy and Adamant's Superman were the three last males
in line when Best Male of Main Club Show was chosen by judge Gareth Lawler, it was youngest generation who won!
Adamant's Superman and Adamant's Dreams Are Free both got invited to prestigious Champion of Champions gala show, where the most succesfull show dogs of all breeds compete who is the best of best. They were only English springers to get
that honour, Superman actually was invited both to Champion competition and to Veteran of Veterans competition which takes part in that gala too, even though Onni only in September got enough old to compete in veteran finals of All Breed shows.
Both 'onni' and 'Frida' are qualified even to CRUFTS

Team Adamant has worked well in the ring even thoug the old good Onni was not able to participate and can be entered next time in January back in shows again.

thank you all who handled our bred Adamant's Springers in it. Wishing all the best luck for all our bred springers which are entered in the Finnish Winner show even though can not keep my fingers crossed all that day.
Onni enjoyed the great atmosphere of his favourite shows Jyväskylä's atmosphere though participating in Junior handler competition with Heini-Maari Keränen who was for second time in the end of Onni's lead and won BIS junior Handler with him again!
Weekend 8-9.11.03 the happy most successfull ESS bitch in Finland year 2003 Adamant's Dreams Are Free
was tested in working dogs behavioral test, and she passed it all with flying colours, all parts of test were pointed as second highest class very good!
Same weekend Adamant's Brilliant Chance took Best In Show veteran award in Norway in spaniel club show.
He was 3. best male and I guess he is quite close if not leading Show Ess of the year there at the moment?
Adamant's True Fashion 'Versace' has again won Best of Breed and BIG-3 in Canada weekend 25-26.10.04,

ADAMANT'S SUPERMAN WON 'SPANIEL OF THE YEAR' TROPHY YET AGAIN AT AT 8 YEARS AGE WITH OVERWHELMING POINTS!
Photo: Sanna Kaven
WAY TO GO TEAM ADAMANT!!!
What an unforgettable weekend it was 18-19.10.03 for us in Annual Spaniel Main Club Show and in Oulu International all breeds too
Entry of ESS (91) was of record size in our country in Main Club Show Hyvinkää and judge was breed specialist from UK: Gareth Lawler, 'Roqfolly' kennel
There were entered just 6 ESS of our breeding and all got Excellent quality, 4 winning each their classes!
Top moment as a breeder was, among others, to realise that when Best Dog competition begun, the dogs who were competing of the day's best male title were our magic THREE GENERATIONS! There were only 3 males entered from us and they were the three last to run to see who wins, and it was the youngest generation who did! Congratulations to Saila Sundell, who had her both boys there running, just 15 months old Adamant's Blowing Free won BEST MALE, his sire Adamant's Golden Boy and grandsire Adamant's Superman were those two other males running in the last round, Golden Boy as a Champion class winner and Superman as a veteran class winner. Blowing Free got his 3. CC, he is shown yet very selectively so far in only few shows.
But what to say about young 'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free, who seems to have chosen her half brothers's Onni's
way to go..to do things not just well but perfectly. She was shown now first time in open class and took proudly
her 16. CC AND finished her Champion title! Which was not enough for her though, but she took Best of Breed also; this year has given her already 8 Best of Breeds so far.
Sister to Superman, Adamant's Dancing Queen won Progeny Class BOB and went to BIS-4 in finals! She is owned by Heli Tolvanen, New Design's kennel
Adamant's Superman was on his best showmanship mood all day long and took also Best in Show Veteran title at his very first veteran class showing over 8 years age. He was not tired with this, but went next day to Oulu International show..did not win breed under Jack Travers Ireland, but he made his presence felt in BIS finals though.
He won again Best In Show veteran in front of Gun Dog group winner golden retriever AND current leader of All breed Top Veteran, Current Runner up Top Show Dog all breeds Austr terrier Bluepepper's Woody Woodpecker, who in this same show
was awarded terrier Group-1 and BIS-3 of all, and BIS-2 veteran then after Superman.
Our breeders class won Best of Breed both days and in Club Show final it won Best in Show!!

Photo: Leila Kärkäs
Onni's critique is lost somewhere in the house, but I remember at least 'showing half of his age' and 'super type' etc..hope to find some day that lovely critique too.
We will welcome warmly 'Saara' aka Fin & N & Lv Ch Adamant's Summer Fantasy!
She is mated 30.10.03 with With Touch Fortune Teller and we expect litter 1.1.04.
We are very grateful to Saara's owner Marja Arpianen who let her join in our team. Marja has done a great work with Saara and her show career, Saara has already won CACIB in three different countries so far. Half of her first litter (3+3)
sired by Adamant's Ringmaster has already won at least CC and one has won 2 times Group-1 and Runner Up BIS!
Welcome Moses! 'Moses' With Touch Holy Moses is a sweet heartbreaker, who is extremely promisng and has a lovely temperament. He is
nearly 4 months old Swedish import bred by Anna Lindh, out of combination Cleavehill Lloyd's Spirit-With Touch
Easter Sweets. He is loved and cared by co owner Antti Hokkanen, to whom we wish all the best for the future with him, hope there will be many nice moments in show ring and tracking in forest too.
Adamant's Break Dance has begun her show career in USA as winning 4 reserve Best Bitch in 4 first shows.

Adamant's Superman won his GROUP 1 number 72!!!! in ECKERÖ International Show 27.9.03.
Breed judge was breed specialist Nicola Hughes from Ireland and Group was judged by Laurent Pichard, also breed specialist, from Schwitzerland and the competition in group was stone hard among many other Finnish and Swedish Gun Dog stars!!!
Adamant's Dreams are Free took her 15. CC and reserv Cacib too!
Same weekend in Italy Torino's International All Breed show Adamant's True Sensation won Best of Breed and BIG-4!!!
Breed judge was Dr Tamas Jakkel from Hungary and Group judge was Hans Muller, Schwitzerland. Congratulations
for Robin's owner Carlo Gennari and good luck in showing this really promising boy in European show rings!
Congratulations to owners of Adamant's Be My Dream for passing field work instict test as so young and so well!
One not too happy new is that "Samantha's" most beautiful puppy girl was taken out by a caesarean section and
the puppy was dead, thankfully Samantha is fine and happy already now.
Next litter plan is already fixed,
will be born in very early part of 2004
Adamant's Dream Are Free competed first time in obedience open class and immediately took with her owner Veera 1. prize being 2. best dog in her class and is now able to start
in WINNER class, wow what a girl she is!!!

Our 'Princess' Rowntree Pure Chocolate went to Sweden week ago to her breeder co owner Ulla Larsson, Rowntree.
She is mated to Whisborne Clansman and has adapted to her home country extremely well. Princess attended
Springer Klub unofficial speciality show on Saturday 6.9.03 and went in entry of 57 ESS to BEST BITCH und Runner Up BIS!!! Judge was Patrick Ragnarsson.
'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free passed easily field work instinct test on Sunday; it is an easy test for this breed
when dog has got typical temperament of the breed and has normal field work instincts as they should have.
What more fun could springer know than retrieve from water, especially when the wooden thing to retrieve is covered with bird wings!

30-31.8.03 Helsinki 'Lets Go' All Breed Show
Onni Adamant's Superman continued his magic way to show and win. It was again a pleasure to show him as he
really did all like he can and will. He won his 116. Best of Breed in good competition in breed,
then went and run like wind in finals taking his 71. Best of Group also in good competition.
Breed judge was Rainer Vuorinen, Group judge August de Wilde from Belgium.
Frida Adamant's Dreams Are Free won BOS and her 14. CC with a lovely critique from so
highly appreciated breed judge Rainer Vuorinen:
"Extremely beautiful and sound bitch. Nice head. Excellent topline. Magnificent angulations. Strong forechest. Reachy, ground covering,
magnificent front movements. Movements correct in all details."

Onni went to number 1. place again in Top Show ESS 2003, 63 points, when Frida has 62 points.

24.8.03 early morning we Veera and I packed Onni and Frida in to our car and what a funny, happy
trip we had to Baltic Winner-2003 show we had, it was this year held in Estonia, Tallinn. We have not
been before in any Baltic Winner show, so we were curious to go and participate this. Dogs really seemed to enjoy their trip all trough. Weather was perfect for a dog show and both seemed to love running on that that red ground meant to sportsmen.
So, we came back after Best in Show finals only, BIS went to current leader of Finnish Top Dog competition,
and Onni Adamant's Superman took not less than CC, CACIB, Baltic Winner 2003, Est CH title, BOB, BIG , BIS-4!
Frida Adamant's Dreams Are Free took CC, CACIB, BOS and Baltic Winner 2003 title too!
Breed judge was Kirsti Louhi, Fin, Group judge Markku Santamäki, Fin and BIS judge was Elke Peper, Germany.
This was 70. Best of Group to Onni and his updated titles are by now:
International, Swedish, Finnish, Danish , Australian, Estonian Champion, World Champion -98, Nordic Winner -99,
Swedish Winner 2001, Finnish Winner -98, -01, -02 and now Baltic Winner, too.
Frida is Finnish Junior Winner -02, Finnish Winner-02, Baltic Winner-02

Onni winning Best of Group under Mary Crowley
I guess only real 'supermen' are supposed to do things like 'Onni' Adamant's Superman does.. he has amazed me and many others along his
stunning show career through all his lifespan! He started with BIS placements in adult classes at 10 months tender age and who knows when will be the last, as he now is nearly 8 years old.
He recognized in Vaasa International all breed show, that the show was just perfect with it's circumstances for him Himself,
so he took the best superman-attitude of which he is famous for and went to BOB, Best of Group and finally BIS-4 under Hans Lehtinen..as far as I know he is with this obviously the only ESS in Scandinavia this year with BIS placement in those prestigious great internationl shows!! This BIG-1 was somewhat number 69 (!!) for him and BOB was number 114 for this show records breaking springer.
Day before in Aura All breeds under Bertil Lundgren judging Onni did not love the boring asphalt under his paws that much; but he went to BOB showing just like normal happy dogs do, but not taking his 'extra' showmanship in use. Later this his 'clark kent' showmood was enough for one more BIG placement in finals BIG-4 under George Kostopoulos, Greece
In Vaasa judge in breed and group was Mary Crowley from Ireland, who never before had seen Adamant's Superman, so we are happy to add again one more judge in that long list of judges who have appreciated him so highly during his stunning long show career!
'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free was a happy funny girl both days and took two more CC:s having now 12!
and she won also reserv CACIB in VAASA. She is a girl who normally really has fun in show rings and this time she
grabbed a dropped squeezing yellow ball in to her mouth when BOB competition was going on..everyone got at least a good laugh for her, but it did not probably though help to beat her big brother Onni
In Norway Club Show under breed specialist Jean Taylor, UK, Cleavehill kennels, 'Adrian' Adamant's Brilliant Chance won BOS!!! Next day in Oslo international he continued his winning ways and took one more CACIB and BOS to his credit under Anja Puumala.

'Princess' Rowntree Pure Chocolate took Springer Club's 'Obedience Champion of the Year 2003' title with Veera!
Her 'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free did also well and got 2. prize in new beginners class

Int & S (u) Ch Fin Ch Adamant's Elvis Presley won again Best of Breed, this time under breed specialist
Deidre Dinneen, Ireland, in Kuopio All Breed Show 9-10.8.03. He usually is well placed in Group finals too, and this time
he was not only placed but he was BEST OF GROUP!!!.
Congratulations again to Marika, what a wonderful summer for Elvis, who just loves to be in show ring!

Adamant's Superman 'Onni' enjoyed his day in Hämeenlinna all breed show 9.8.03.
He had great show attitude and obviously had a really lovely day himself being back in shows, and
with his favourite weather, warm but not too hot, lovely grass under his paws.
He took his Best of Breed number 112, which was his first BOB and first show under a judge from Baltic countries.
He was later shortlisted in 6 group finalists under a Slovenian judge, but
was not in 4. He has as well never visited Baltic countries yet, but is going to visit one soon.

Adamant's Stardust won her first Best of Breed in Rauma all breed show 03.08.03 under Australian David Wong, congratulations to
Sanna Kavèn! Adamant's Elvis Presley continues winning well, one more CACIB and BOS to him in Tornio
International all breed show 2-3.8.03, congratulations again to Marika Loukkola for a great day!
Two Adamant's springers were also in tracking tests during weekend. Our Adamant's Golden Success was in such a test first time in her life as was Veera also with her..but 'Enni' was such a talent one and did a great job, found the rabbit without problems and gained 45 points and easy 1. prize!! She was 3. best of open class dogs, which were mainly retrievers. Adamant's Finnish Flash continues his great job as tracking dog in Sweden as well and took another 1. prize in open class too and needs only 2 more 1. prizes to finish Tracking Ch title. His puppies in Sweden has done well in puppy ring as winning BIS puppy and other BOBs and BIS placements too.
Photo: Showring News
'Frida' Adamant's Dreams Are Free continues her winning ways!
She won her 10. CC and 7. Best of Breed She was enjoying her day in really hot weather indeed, and
was still in group showing herself very happily and won Best of Group-1!!!
Her critique ont hat hot day was:
"Excellent type and temperament. Well balanced, soft and fluent lines in head and body. Beautiful topline. excellent angualtions in front and rear. Showing happily and shows also in this heat well extended trott."
Show was prestigious Super Summer Show all breed in Helsinki 26-27.7.03. Judge was Harry Tast Finland.
Adamant's Superman was after 2 months holiday back in business but could not in that hotness beat his
fresh young little sister Frida, so he was BOS. But he was in spite of all hotness showing well and participated even
in junior handler competition with Heini-Maari Keränen. Onni has not been in junior handler since 1997 I think, but comeback in there was perfect, as Heini-Maari was showing him very professionally and keeping on his happy mood
through such a long time in that hotness and so judge Juha Kares gave to Onni's handler the BIS ribbon!
Also Adamant's Elvis Presley did well again and continues as most winning ESS male this year in Finland:
he was BOS with CACIB in Mikkeli International show under E-B Nordin Sweden
Adamant's Golden Sound made a good job in Swedish Vdstena x 4 shows as taking 3 x CCQ in hard competitions
with some 20+ entries in open bitch classes, she was placed 3 times and once as Best Bitch-4!

We are so waiting for her coming to Finland!
20.7.03 Forssa All Breed Show

Weekend 12-13.7.03
Unfortunately our entries became back from Hyvinkää All Breed show, as it was one day too late sent,
so we stayed just home then.
Thank for active people who own our bred dogs, there was great success though!
Thank you all who participated in our Hyvinkää breeders class, which won BOB under Kari Granaas Hansen, Norway.
Young Frida brother Adamant's Flying Finn made a happy surprise, as he won in his second official show
BOS and CC! Adamant's Blowing Free took reserv CC and his sire Adamant's Golden Boy had to
be happy with excellent 1. in working class, when young boys beated him in Best male.
Adamant's Elvis Presley continues his successfull comeback in show rings as winning Best of Breed
again, now in Kokkola All Breed National show under judge Marjo Jaakkola. Christian Vantu judged group 8 and 'Elvis'
was again highly placed as 3. Best of Group!!.
Congratulations for all who made success with your Adamant Springers this weekend!

just to check how things are after 2 months holiday times and back in shows soon; he does look pretty beautiful still!
