Adamant's Superman winning his 100. Best of Breed and Group 1. number 64 after pouring rain!

Lohja all breed show was held 16.6.02 and springers were judged by Eeva Rautala.
While the magic couple Adamant's Superman and Adamant's Estee Lauder were competing of Best of Breed it begun a real pouring rain and we got a real shower of natural sort!
Onni is used to love rain and winning in the rain, so he did not care but run proudly around the ring and won his 100. Best of Breed!!! What an unforgettable moment it was, though unfortunately no pics from it because all cameras had died in such rain for sure!
Onni crowned his day as winning BIG-1 number 64. under Eeva Rautala and also BIS-5 under Tamas Jakkel!
Our young girl Adamant's Dreams Are Free continued her fabulous puppy show time as winning BIS-2 puppy, though she was bounching sometimes like kangaroo and had little too much fan in final ring as wanting to say hello to everyone..poor handler tried to hang on. Anyhow, we are more than thrilled as seeing such charming show girl glamour in her way to be, it is a good sign for for the future showing time.

Happy news also from Denmark as we heard that Onni's beautiful daughter Nobhill Taste of Success has gained Norwegian and Swedish Show Champion titles!!! Congratulations to owners to kennel Galaxi, Denmark!
It is Ch title number 18 to Onni's progeny!

Our 'Princess' Rowntree Pure Chocolate took 1. prize in obedience open class and was the best spaniel in her class in Tampre spaniels Obedience Championship competition!!!

'Tyty' Adamant's Sound of Success won champion bitch class in Skokloster and ended as best bitch-5 at 8.5 years age among 170 entries, under breed specialist Jenny Miller, UK!!!

CHARITY SHOW 16.5.02 HELSINKI

We attended this show for charity purpose to help breeder colleague Sari Solanti in her troublesome illness.

What a well organised show it was a with a great atmosphere,,even our 'Onni' Adamant's Superman decided to make a real show performance with greatest attitude and proudness in BIS final. He ended with it as Best in Show
It was more than funny , that though I have been in 'few' other shows during all past 30 years, I managed now in this one to be every time in wrong place wrong time..but there was allways some helpful one to give a little advice, to tell where to go when when winning and so. Also when we went with Onni and Princess to group final, we were kindly told that it was a puppy group final..So we went off ring, I took 'Frida' aka Adamant's Dreams Are Free, who did not care that much of mess, but won then the puppy BIG, and went later to puppy BIS-2!!!
Our 'Princess' aka Rowntree Pure Chocolate was second in winners group 8 class, so she was beaten only by BIS winner!

4.5.02 Adamant's Golden Boy took BOB BIG and BIS-2 in Mänttä Speciality show under Annaliisa Heikkinen

Adamant's Superman progeny did well also in Kuopio All Breed show 4.5.02 under Tiina Illukka, when Upgate's Misty Meaning was BOB and BIG-2, Upgate's My Messenger was BOS. Another Onni son Baskethill's Golden Griffith took CC and Champion title, he is number 17 of Onni's Champion children!!!

Maestro Himself, Adamant's Superman took BOB and BIG-2 in Oitti speciality under Kirsti Bremer.

Adamant's Superman won Best of Breed and 2. Best of Group in Lahti international dog show 27-28.4.02!!!

Breed judge was Hannele Jokisilta Finland, and Group Judge was Hans Lehtinen.
He was shown to perfection by his co owner Tiina Mattila, who did a great job!
Onni was beaten only by a BIS winning flat coated retriever from Sweden!

Onni is getting closer to his magic BOB number 100, which sure must be a scandinavian record for this breed!

Adamant's Dreams Are Free 'Frida' has been developing all the time as beauties do! Though we had not planned to save any of our last litter at home, we just could not resist this charming girl and finally around 7 weeks also I gave up with this and allowed her to stay...at moment my favourite enjoyable hobby is to watch through kitchen window how she is giving showing performances as running proudly around dog run keeping everything she has got also during movement.
Our another beauty Rowntree Pure Chocolate Princess has been more late in development but during winter time she has turned to a lovely charming young lady as well, who we also will take with 'Frida' for many shows already in few next weeks

What a lovely surprise for the breeder & previous co owner it was to get Estee Lauder aka Hilda suddenly back in show rings yet again!!!
It was just like as in old good times when the magic couple Onni & Hilda were shown in same breeders groups winning so much. This time Hilda was more lucky after looooooooong thinking and running in such a post stamp sized breed ring to go to group final, where she got a nice placement also, and had a great influence in breeders group which placed so highly, getting Adamant's team to 4. place at the moment in Top Breeder all breeds 2002 competition. We hope to meet Hilda more in our groups during the year.
Onni and Hilda have now together won 132 BOBs, of which Onni has taken those 93...and together they have won not less than 73 GROUP-1!!! of which Onni has taken those 59 GROUP-1...and their story will go on. Both will be veteran class dogs later this year, and at least Onni is not going to be retired even then, but looking for nice showing in veteran class, as he is still looking like a man at his best age..

Crufts show is over! Onni is happily back home again and he really enjoyed his trip all through, even in buses and trains, where he got many new admirers to give him pats! I cant imagine the more easier dog on travel..where ever he was he was adapted so well to all kinds of circumstances and found his place to be comfortable. He met in Crufts many of his world wide fans and was happy with everyone of course! He showed well and happily and was in condition, but otherwise it was not one of his great winning days, when he left unplaced in his class. Never mind, when we did not even except it in this show, but were looking more forward to have him shown once over there, to add this experience in the list of his absolutely unforgettable show career, which will still continue through new adventures.

We were happy to watch at ring side as his competitor on Finnish Top Dog list, the leading one, lovely silky terrier won BOB and was short listed in group, what a wonderful feeling it was for us all Finns there!!!
We will also thank all those friends and dog people who kindly wished luck for us in Crufts..such a nice feeling to get encouragement and cheers from others!

All in all, it was a wonderful trip and wonderful days we spent there, and as I already there in Crufts said to the quite long cue of English colleagues asking if I am disappointed? ..my answer was that absolutely not, cant be disappointed when I did not even expect anything else but to make this wonderful trip itself and have fun time over there, and we really enjoyed every minute of it!!!
Of course big thanks also to those few UK colleagues, who came to say how gorgeous Onni looked and how he moved like a dream.
BOB from springers was Eastriding Kouros and BOS Cepen Country Classic, who finished her title on that day. Springer did not get shortlisted in group later. The wonderful great puddle from Norway took BIS!!!

One thing in which I can say I am disappointed is that it is not possible to show imported docked dogs here in Finland anymore, if they are docked after the beginning of 2001. So no need to dream about getting puppies therefrom as docked ones to show them in this country..such a pitty to possible new breeding plans and so.

Well, when there has obviously been lots of talk and questions if he will be in Cruft's or not, we can tell the news:
yes, he is at least entered and hopefully all the trip will go well with flight and everything with it. 7 entries alltogether there are from Finland, much more from Sweden and there was also one springer entry from Sweden in Dog World's over seas entry list.
At least Onni is used to fly, when he has already been training this with his trips around the globe to Australia and back!

The biggest aim for us in this adventure is just to be able to have him running there once in life time in Cruft's famous show ring, and to show him in as perfect show condition as possible. And hopefully he loves enough the green carpet on the ring to show all the best of his showmanship, just to be able to represent Finnish Springer breeding with style and happiness.

Adamant's Superman aka 'Snowman' doesnt take any stress about such a famous show or any other show, but he just loves to take 'few' snowbaths when there is enough of lovely snow for him, as today 23.2.02, when he was having fun at ski center around while our children were skiing...but he doesnt love so much those snow balls hanging allover in his pretty coat!

Thank you for all of you who own an Adamant Springer and have made this success possible, though we produce so very seldom any litters, only one every now and then. We hope to get some day more Adamants puppies to make all those people happy who have been waiting so long!

Our 'His Majesty' Adamant's Superman has been The English Show Springer of The year in Finland through all years he has been competing from 1996 to 2001... he was only shown 4 times last year in Finland because of his Australian trip, but gained though most points of all, if we have counted right, to gain the title again!
2000 also Adamant's Sound of Success gained proudly The Show Springer of The year 2000 in Sweden!!.

After 4 first huuuge shows to count to Top Dog all breeds Finland 2002 competition (more than 20 000 entries in these first 4 great international shows!!!!) Adamant's Superman has taken proudly Runner Up placement so far in this game..silky terrier is leading now with 4 points more.

Champion of Champions contest 2002 for all Finnish Top Dogs was held in Dipoli!

ADAMANT'S SUPERMAN took proudly place in the 4 very best couples and finally was beaten by a kerry blue terrier, a BIS winner of Nordic Winner Show 2001, with votes 2-1,,,Mrs Pamela Cross- Stern, UK, gave her vote still to 'Onni' in this couple as well. Onni really enjoyed his performance and was a handlers dream to show.
Current leader of Dog of The Year 2002 a silky terrier won the game!

On the very same day one of Onni's Australian daughter Fairsky Jemima Puddleduk won her first BOB, CC with 10 points to CH title and was BIS minor puppy (still very young lady..)

Onni has got a letter from Russia to tell that he is proud father of 7+3 lovely puppies!
